SK-NET™ Version 4 Release (Build 4.0.0.28) (posted March, 2009)

With Secura Key access control systems, version updates to the basic or MLD software are always free*. We recommend updating SK-NET™ if you need newly added features or if you are experiencing problems with your current version on your computer. To update your system to the latest release, follow these simple instructions. 

NOTE: SK-Net-MLD (multi-location, LAN, Dialup). If your current software is the MLD version, you will need to go to Help, Upgrade system, and record the 12 digit serial number. After installing the new software, again go to Help, Upgrade system, select MLD and re-enter the serial number into your new SK-Net version.

Upgrade from version 2.42 or later to Version 4.00: 

Make a full backup of your SK-NET before installing Version 4. During the installation, you will be prompted to run the Database Migration Tool, make sure the check box is checked and follow instructions to migrate your existing database to version 4.

NEW Installation of Version 4.00

During the installation, you will be prompted to run the Database Migration Tool.  For a completely new installation make sure the check box is UN-checked and click on Finish to complete your installation. 

Please read these instructions completely before downloading the SK-NET™ Software Version 4.00

1. Click on your selected language to Download.

2. On the "File Download" screen, select option to "Save this program to disk" and click OK.

3. On the "Save As" screen, select folder on your hard drive (for example: C:\Temp) and click Save.

4. When the "Download Complete" screen appears, click Open Folder.

5. Double clicks the downloaded file to start the installation.

6. The Default User Name for SK-NET™ is ADMIN and Password is 12345.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you select the correct version of SK-NET™ for your operating system.

SK-NET™ Version 4 Migration Tool (posted March, 2009)

*** The Migration Tool is included with all the above SK-NET installations.

Please read these instructions completely before downloading the SK-NET™ Version 4 Migration Tool

• The Migration Tool is designed to upgrade SK-NET Database from version 2.4 or newer to version 4.00. After downloading the migration tool, install it in the SK-NET Version 4 folder. (The default location for this folder is C:\Secura Key\SK-NET). Click on link below to download.
