The ET4-WXM and ET4-WXS units have been optimized for use in access control applications. An industry-standard Wiegand interface allows easy connection to control panels by most manufacturers. Bi-color LED and buzzer control are also provided.

An RS-485 communications protocol is included. This permits two-way data transfer for read/write applications. Used with, or instead of, the Wiegand communications, RS-485 offers the systems integrator unique opportunities for merging access control and other systems.

Secura Key offers contactless smart cards, key tags, wrist bands and other credentials for use with these readers. Choose uncoded cards that you can program in the field, or factory-encoded cards with our highly secure DES encryption key. Custom 4-color graphics, bar codes, magnetic stripes, signature panels and other options are available.

ET4-WXM is a mullion-size reader that is fully potted for extreme weather conditions. ET4-WXS is a switchplate-sized potted reader that can be used with a single-gang electrical box. Both models are easy to install and very reliable.
