SK-NET™ SOFTWARE NOW INTEGRATES
WITH REMOTE EYES® DIGITAL SURVEILLANCE VIDEO
CHATSWORTH, CALIFORNIA - Secura Key of Chatsworth, California and Odyssey Technologies, Inc. of Laurel, Maryland are pleased to announce the integration of Remote Eyes® digital video surveillance with SK-NET™ access control software. This most recent integration project by Odyssey takes event data generated by a card reader, keypad or biometric device and writes it directly into the surveillance video archive. Every access control point can be assigned to a corresponding camera to create a comprehensive activity authentication system. Card-use events can be searched to locate related video. Tools in SK-NET™ allow immediate access to the video, as well as comparison of stored cardholder images and live or stored video.
Bill Newill, Secura Key’s V.P. of Sales and Marketing, said, “Our objective with video integration, as with all other enhancements to SK-NET™, is to add functionality while keeping the interface simple to learn and easy to use. Working with Odyssey Technologies, we’ve accomplished that.”
John Webster, CEO of Odyssey Technologies, said, “Odyssey is extremely excited about our new integration and partnership with Secura Key. The SK-NET™ access control system brings a very solid, reputable, and affordable solution to our customers in Retail, Hospitality, Property Management and Financial Services.”
Secura Key has been building access control products in the San Fernando Valley of California for over 35 years. SK-NET™ software is a Windows-based program for management of SK-ACP-LE 2-door, networkable controllers as well as the Entracomp 28SA-PLUS standalone access control unit. Up to 200 openings and 65,000 users can be managed at each SK-NET™ location.
